The Department of Large Animal Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, invites applications for a clinical-track faculty position in Farm Practice in the Field Services Section at the rank of clinical assistant/associate professor. The General Farm Practice Service provides primary and selected specialized veterinary care to a mixed large animal population in the field.
To be considered for the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited college of veterinary medicine; have 2 years post-DVM experience in large animal practice. To be considered for the rank of Clinical Associate Professor, candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited college of veterinary medicine; have a minimum of 7 years post-DVM experience (at the time of appointment); and be board certified in a relevant discipline.
