Job summary

The Renfrew Center of Atlanta, GA is seeking a Clinical Assessor to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and to work closely with outpatient providers to determine the appropriate level of care. You will present acuity, goals and discharge criteria while maintaining complete documentation and supporting the treatment team.

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• GA provisional or associate licensed in social services preferred.
• Experience with eating disorders strongly preferred.
• Current credentialing with managed care panels highly desired.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care.
• Collaborate with outpatient providers.
• Present acuity, rationale for continued stay, goals and discharge criteria.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
• Provide support to the team when needed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
• Summarize clinical progress from sources for managed care.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
• Collaborating with outpatient providers.
• Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
• Provide support to the team when needed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
• When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.

Requirements

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

• Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
• GA provisional or associate licensed in the social services field (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), full or independent licensure preferred.
• Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred.
• Current credentialing with managed care panels highly desired.
• Bilingual is a plus

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
