The Opportunity:

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is responsible for driving prescription referral growth and sales through physician offices, clinics, hospitals, or institutions in northern New Jersey. This involves consultative face-to-face sales with clients, prospects, patients, caregivers, therapists, and administrators. The role includes analyzing referral patterns, developing account plans, and identifying opportunities to increase volume with existing referrers or develop new referral channels to maximize growth and revenue.

Job Outcomes You Must Achieve:

  • Make face-to-face sales calls on physicians, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, patients, caregivers, and administrators within the assigned territory, focusing on adult pulmonology, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, and neuromuscular clinics.
  • Analyze referral patterns, prioritize opportunities, and create efficient zones within the territory using effective planning and time management skills.
  • Build strong relationships with top referral sources, understanding their needs and aligning our solutions accordingly.
  • Use consultative selling skills to engage new referral sources and uncover competitive advantages based on unmet needs.
  • Complete all necessary documentation promptly and work closely with managers and cross-functional teams to achieve territory and business goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
  • 2-4 years of medical sales experience with a strong understanding of healthcare or business
  • Prior airway clearance therapy experience is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Adherence to Company Sales Process and mastery in consultative selling
  • Proven track record of meeting referral goals
  • Willingness to travel minimally after training
  • This is a remote/in-the-field position near Newark, NJ

Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped incentives, ranging from $75,000 to over $180,000, depending on performance.
