Clinical Applications Specialist Neurosurgery

Location: NYC

Our client is a global leader in non-invasive neurosurgical treatments. They are seeking several Clinical Applications Specialists for the greater NYC and DC areas. These roles are home-based with extensive travel.

The Clinical Applications Specialist position offers a dynamic, multi-disciplinary working environment. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to join the growing Clinical Applications Neurosurgical team in North America.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or Medical Physics
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Commitment to customer needs and achieving team goals and deadlines
  • Fast learner with critical thinking skills
  • Creative problem-solver capable of finding techno-clinical solutions
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Comfortable lecturing to large audiences
  • Effective collaboration with scientific and clinical personnel and colleagues
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%, including weekends and international trips, sometimes with short notice
  • Experience working in an MR environment and clinical settings (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Train and guide clinical personnel and account/business staff at new and existing treatment centers
  • Support onsite treatments to enhance user knowledge in the region
  • Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of the technology
  • Create technical documentation such as reports, presentations, and procedures
  • Serve as a technical liaison between the company and clinical users in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel domestically and internationally (Americas), at least 60%, including weekends and nights

Qualifications:

  • Scientific degree in biomedical, neuroscience, or medical research (Bachelor’s or higher preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in MRI, ultrasound, or operating room environments
  • Experience guiding medical personnel and handling complex multi-disciplinary products (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required
