Clinical Applications Consultant (Next Generation Sequencing)

This position involves supporting clinical laboratories with training, validation, troubleshooting of NGS products, and promoting clinical solutions. The role requires 50-75% travel and is based remotely in Colorado, Missouri, or Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clinical labs with Thermo Fisher Scientific/ Ion Torrent products
• Lead assay implementations and customer training
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and partners
• Analyze customer data using Torrent Suite and Ion Reporter software
• Assist in experiment design and product evaluation
• Ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA guidelines
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to optimize customer support

Qualifications:

• BA/BS with 2+ years relevant experience, MS or PhD preferred
• Experience in NGS, qPCR, RT-PCR, and healthcare standards
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and scientific articulation skills
