Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Application Support Expert to support a major healthcare company in the Lehigh Valley, PA area. This role is Hybrid with 2 days required on-site per week. The Clinical Application Support Expert isresponsible for supporting and enhancing the technology infrastructure related to clinical devices, such as patient and temperature monitoring systems, across multiple hospital locations.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Application Support Expert include :
- Lead and provide software leadership in areas of Clinical Engineering (CE) technology, supporting systems like patient monitoring and temperature monitoring devices within hospital settings.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement and integrate technology solutions, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with hospital needs.
- Oversee all CE technology across 30 hospitals, managing the integration and troubleshooting of both legacy and new devices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring workflow standardization and consistency in the implementation of CE technology solutions.
- Lead testing efforts (unit, functional, and integration) to ensure CE systems meet required specifications, security standards, and quality expectations.
Qualifications of the Clinical Application Support Expert include :
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Information Management, IT, or a related healthcare field, with a focus on Clinical Engineering or healthcare technology solutions.
- Previous experience working with Clinical Engineering systems or managing the technology side of CE functions (e.g., patient monitoring, temperature monitoring systems).
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience addressing complex technology issues, including network, firewall, security, and system integration challenges.
- Ability to lead technology initiatives involving both legacy and modern devices, with a strong understanding of both hardware and software interactions.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and mentor others to achieve departmental goals while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
Compensation for the Clinical Application Support Expert include :
- Salary : $80,000 - $130,000, depending on experience.
