Job summary

United Allergy Services is seeking a Clinical Allergy Specialist to administer allergy tests and injections under supervision, educate patients on immunotherapy, and support the growth of allergy services within partnered practices.

The role involves preparing immunotherapy vials, coordinating with the clinic, and handling scheduling and documentation to ensure smooth patient care. A health-related Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in health-related fields preferred or equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year full-time clinical experience in a medical setting or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required.
  • Experience with medical office software programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer allergy tests and injections under a supervising physician.
  • Prepare customized patient immunotherapy vials.
  • Educate and support patients through their immunotherapy treatment journeys.
  • Complete basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and documenting medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality allergy care.
  • Coordinate within the clinic to increase visibility and presence of allergy services.

Your future role:

As a Clinical Allergy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide accessible allergy care by administering allergy tests and injections, educating patients on immunotherapy, and driving the growth of the allergy center within a partnered practice.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer allergy tests and injections under a supervising physician.

  • Prepare customized patient immunotherapy vials.

  • Educate and support patients through their immunotherapy treatment journeys.

  • Complete basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling medical documentation.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional allergy care and treatment.

  • Coordinate within the clinic to create visibility and presence for the allergy services.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in health-related fields is preferred, however a combination of health-related education and experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 1 year full-time clinical experience, medical office setting, customer service, or similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required.
  • User experience with medical office and/or business software programs are preferred.
