Position Summary

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 50% (Domestic and International; overnight required)

The Clinical Affairs Manager will provide clinical expertise and support to clinical end‑users, clinical sales specialists, sales teams, Regulatory, Engineering, Marketing, and other departments on the safe and effective use of the Teleflex Medical product portfolio, with primary emphasis on the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise. The role supports clinical applications via didactic, web-based, and teleconferenced education, and involves clinical support for physicians, nurses, techs, live cases/proctorships, and related activities. The Manager will identify product attributes and opportunities to expand into new markets or applications and facilitate scientific information exchanges with Medical Affairs leadership and CMA team members.

  • Drive clinical and educational support for Coronary/Structural Heart initiatives, including training, live case coverage, and post‑engagement follow‑ups.
  • Develop expertise on the Coronary/Structural Heart portfolio and expand customer base through professional networking and clinical education.
  • Support educational programs and scientific exchanges with medical societies, including pre‑conference and in‑booth programs, committee meetings, grants, and research submissions (with Global Research & Scientific Services).
  • Manage all related administrative tasks and ensure compliance with Teleflex policies and regulatory requirements.

• Manage utilization of healthcare professionals in accordance with Teleflex IPPs. • Coordinate cross‑functional partnerships (Medical Affairs, Global R&S, Marketing, R&D). • Plan and participate in local, regional, and national trade shows; contribute as a clinical expert in projects and committees. • Support speaker programs, webinars, training content, and Teleflex Academy. • Contribute to content development and review of educational materials as needed by IA BU or CMA. • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Teleflex T&E policies and procedures. • Adhere to Teleflex IPPs, Code of Ethics, and company policies.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in clinical fields, biology, health sciences, or engineering.
  • Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart.
  • Minimum five years’ clinical exposure in Cardiology.
  • Medical Device industry experience in Clinical and Medical Affairs preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to evaluate medical literature and apply findings to Teleflex products.
  • Understanding of sales force dynamics and related tools.
  • Ability to interact with multiple hospital specialties and convey complex information to clinicians.
  • Self-directed, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication; ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile technologies.
  • Credentials for hospital access (RepTrax, Vendormate, etc.) and potential COVID-19 vaccination as required by facility.
  • Compliance with FDA QSR, ISO13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and other international regulatory requirements.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 50% (Domestic and International; overnight required)

The pay range at commencement is expected to be between $118,000 and $135,000, with variations based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The total package includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, FSA, 401(k), and paid time off. Details will be provided with an offer. At‑will employment status applies, with company rights to modify compensation per policy and factors described.
