Overview

Clinical Administrative Coordinator - Remote in Florida. UnitedHealthcare offers benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k). This is a full-time telecommute position for Florida residents with an 8-hour shift between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be necessary.

The Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols, supports the care team in achieving clinical and service goals, and delivers excellent customer service.

If you reside in Florida, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute while taking on challenging responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members
  • Resolve inquiries from team members and case managers
  • Complete special projects
  • Create NABD letters and upload them to the mailing system
  • Document into ICUE and Community Cares
  • Fax providers as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) or 4+ years of experience in healthcare or health insurance
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF
  • Access to a designated quiet workspace at home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience solving customer problems
  • 2+ years of experience working in the health care industry
  • 2+ years of experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services
  • 2+ years of experience working with medical terminology
  • Prior work at home experience

Pay is based on factors including location, education, and experience. The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
