Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous medical assistant experience or CMA certification is preferred.
• BLS certification required by time of hire.
• Experience with medical terminology and EMR data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs and prepare patients for the provider’s care.
• Document all entries in medical records accurately with signature, date and time.
• Administer medications as directed under supervision of licensed physician.
• Observe and report patient signs or symptoms and collect routine laboratory specimens.
