Job summary

Saint Joseph’s College of Maine seeks Clinical Instructors to teach Clinical Student groups in Maine for the Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters. This position is for our Traditional BSN program.

A Master’s Degree in Nursing or a BSN with current MSN enrollment is required, along with Maine RN license and two years acute care experience. The role prefers teaching experience with traditional undergraduate nursing students or precepting staff nurses.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a BSN with current MSN enrollment
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care
• Demonstrates an appreciation for the needs of the novice student nurse
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical student groups in Maine for the Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters
• Teach in the Traditional BSN program
• Coordinate with department on clinical schedules and student evaluations
