Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited acupuncture program with 1548 hours of theory and practice.
• Training includes biology, organic biochemistry, physics and anatomy.
• Clinical training in internal medicine, pharmacology, neurology and surgery.
• Experience with traditional Oriental medicine theory and needling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically necessary acupuncture, consults, assessments and treatments.
• Documents treatments and patients' response to acupuncture therapy on patients chart.
• When in workers' compensation, states opinion on work-relatedness and writes comprehensive medical reports.
