Job summary

CDL Nuclear Technologies is seeking a Clinical Accounts Manager to ensure smooth clinical and technical performance for Cardiac PET sites, whether mobile or fixed. You will train physicians and technologists while upholding ALARA and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, NMTCB/ARRT certification, and a willingness to travel nationwide to support startups, laboratory setup, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Board certification through NMTCB and/or ARRT is required/preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Cardiac Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve work processes and manage complex projects.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical training skills.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer startups, laboratory setup, and trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Vice President of Operations to support new customer clinical and technical startups.
  • Interface with client administrators, physicians, technologists, nurses, vendors, and management teams.
  • Ensure smooth clinical operations of Cardiac PET systems and technologist competency.
  • Provide physician training on Cardiac PET clinical and technical aspects.
  • Ensure adherence to ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
  • Oversee Cardiac PET laboratory operations for efficiency and staff confidence.
  • Deliver ongoing clinical and technical training, including onboarding new staff.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure satisfaction of technologists and physicians.

Required Qualifications
  • CT certification preferred

The Clinical Accounts Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient clinical and technical performance of CDL Nuclear Technologies’ Cardiac PET customer sites , whether serviced by mobile or fixed equipment. This role is critical to new client startups, ongoing operations, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with the Vice President of Operations to support new customer clinical and technical startups
  • Interface directly with client administrators, physicians, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses, equipment vendors, physicists, and CDL sales and management teams
  • Ensure smooth clinical operations of Cardiac PET systems and ongoing technologist competency
  • Provide physician training on the technical and clinical aspects of Cardiac PET
  • Ensure adherence to ALARA principles and radiation safety standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations and Project Managers on assigned accounts
  • Oversee ongoing Cardiac PET laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and staff confidence
  • Support objectives related to patient care, personnel and equipment management, quality assurance, in-service education, and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a staff technologist for CDL PET and Hybrid accounts as needed
  • Provide regular updates to customers and management on a weekly, monthly, and as-requested basis
  • Deliver ongoing clinical and technical training, including onboarding new client employees
  • Conduct routine site visits to ensure technologist and physician satisfaction
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of CDL business and patient information
  • Assist with training and mentoring of new employees and coworkers
  • Uphold CDL’s core objective of delivering the best appropriate patient care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
