CDL Nuclear Technologies is seeking a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SPECT) in Mechanicsville, VA. This part-time, hourly role involves working with cardiologists and technicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to independently produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality SPECT nuclear imaging studies per protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Manage radiopharmaceutical doses for scheduled studies.
• Maintain hot lab operations and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Document and adhere to clinical workflows; operate imaging equipment.
• Support safety by following state, federal, OSHA, and radiation rules.
• Collaborate with physicians and CDL Nuclear leadership to deliver service.

Immediately Hiring: Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SPECT)

Location: Mechanicsville, VA

Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly (1 Day Per Week)

What You’ll Do

As a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will work directly alongside cardiologists and Cardiac Stress Technicians at one of our client healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality SPECT nuclear imaging studies in accordance with physician protocols and clinical standards
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process
• Order and manage radiopharmaceutical doses for scheduled patient studies
• Maintain hot lab operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to clinical workflows
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Support a safe environment by adhering to all state, federal, OSHA, and radiation safety regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and CDL Nuclear leadership to provide exceptional service to patients and customers

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification in good standing

• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
