Position Summary:
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) will call on prescribers of Filspari, a first-in-class treatment for rare kidney disease, targeting a unique patient population. The CAM's responsibility is to position the company as a leader in Nephrology and maximize sales within their territory. They will partner with healthcare providers by providing support in diagnosis and patient management for these rare conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all business activities within their geographic area, including achieving sales goals, planning, and expense management.
• Call primarily on Nephrology healthcare professionals in targeted institutions and offices.
• Engage with providers managing patients with rare kidney disease and educate them on the benefits of Travere therapies.
• Assist with therapy access steps, including testing procedures, site of care decisions, and reimbursement education.
• Provide educational support to an underserved patient community.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; life sciences or clinical background preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Over 5 years of experience calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products.
Additional Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrate a proven sales success record with quantifiable achievements.
• Experience in rare disease or highly specialized products is preferred.
• Prior experience with academic institutions and start-up environments is desirable.
• Nephrology experience and familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution are preferred.
• Ability to analyze sales data, plan strategies, and identify business opportunities.
• Proficiency with Sales Force Automation tools and business software.
• Well-organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliable personal vehicle meeting company requirements.
• Background check including Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically overnight.
• Reside in or near the assigned territory.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face work and meet credentialing requirements for healthcare access.

Compensation: Includes base pay, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives (company stock), designed to recognize and retain employees.
Target Base Pay Range:
$158,000.00 - $205,000.00*This information is current as of the posting date and may change. Actual offers depend on experience, education, skills, and location.
