JOB DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) position offers an exciting opportunity for pharmacists to leverage their pharmacy and healthcare expertise to meet the strategic goals of Health Plan clients and improve clinical and financial outcomes for their members. The CAE will utilize their deep understanding of the pharmacy and healthcare landscape, along with strong clinical, analytical, financial, and business skills, to develop and present comprehensive strategies aligned with client goals. These strategies should address key metrics such as member and client satisfaction, clinical support, and program adoption, aiming to reduce healthcare costs and achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
The CAE manages a portfolio of moderately complex clients, requiring forward-thinking as the healthcare landscape evolves. They should be comfortable with diverse data elements, capable of deriving insights, and member-centric to promote an optimal patient experience. The CAE acts as the client’s top clinical resource, staying informed about new clinical innovations beyond medications, including digital health and new healthcare delivery models. They collaborate with the Health Plan’s Pharmacy Director, Medical Director, and clinical staff to develop comprehensive management plans. The CAE is the healthcare consultant and expert responsible for managing clinical strategies, initiatives, and adopting new clinical solutions to meet the shared goals of the client and ESI.

This role may be eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
