The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and training. The above range is an estimate at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The department of Psychiatry Clinical Services seeks a Clinical Access Manager to oversee Intake team operations, including staff management, workflows, metrics, data management, and process improvement. The role involves partnering with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure seamless patient support.

Responsibilities
  1. Intake Team Operations (35%)
    • Manage staff, workflows, data, and process improvements across multiple sites.
    • Ensure quality and standardization of intake services; develop policies and procedures.
    • Oversee referral development, manage data systems, and report on service usage.
    • Coordinate with clinical directors and participate in leadership meetings.
    • Onboard new faculty and develop patient coverage plans.
    • Resolve operational issues and perform other duties as assigned.
  2. Strategy (35%)
    • Develop and implement patient intake and referral management strategies.
    • Establish team goals, monitor performance, and foster continuous improvement.
    • Lead projects, communicate change plans, and manage external partnerships.
    • Forecast resources and produce reports and presentations.
  3. People (25%)
    • Oversee HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, and training.
    • Provide supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
    • Identify staffing needs and promote a learning culture.
  4. Compliance and Other (5%)
    • Ensure policy compliance, maintain a safe work environment, and complete required trainings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of related experience, including leadership in a mental health patient intake setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred.
Other Requirements
  • Expertise in mental health patient intake, leadership, project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and commitment to diversity and equity.
