Position Description:

Work Schedule: Flexi, Irregular
Work Location: Prime Care Clinic, Gardendale

Provides a variety of specialized services requiring interaction with patients, visitors, and the healthcare team. Greets and escorts patients, performs medical testing (e.g., vital signs, urine specimens, height/weight), and may prepare charge tickets. Handles patient phone calls regarding medical questions, test results, and medications in contact with physicians and nursing staff. Performs duties using independent judgment within established protocols. Ensures patient rooms and instruments are clean and stocked. Orders and maintains clinic supplies. Performs pre-load responsibilities based on clinic needs.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must attend all required training, possess basic medical terminology knowledge, proficiency with PC applications and database management, math and bookkeeping skills, excellent telephone and customer service skills, and good English grammar and punctuation.

Preferred: One year of experience in a medical setting.

License, Certification, and/or Registration: Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
