Department - Pima Animal Care Center

As a Clinic Technician, you will work directly in our shelter clinic caring for dogs and cats, rotating between surgery and triage teams, in a fast-paced environment with emergency cases.
High school diploma or G.E.D. AND six months of experience in a veterinary setting or completion of a vet technician/vet assistant certification, or one year of relevant experience with Pima County.
Candidates will be evaluated based on education and experience, with possible further assessments. Successful candidates will undergo background checks and a physical and drug screen.
Requires valid Arizona Class D driver license, rabies immunizations within nine months, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. The position is full-time, with rotating shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Pima County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
