Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and general health information for patient chart and prepare patients for examination.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures.
• Assist in collection of laboratory specimens and tests as ordered; arrange for patient testing, admissions and referrals.
• Enter and record patient information in charts accurately and concisely.
• Maintain patient health records up-to-date including pain assessment and current medication sheet.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
