Job description

The Putnam County Hospital Medical Practice Team Lead works closely with physicians and staff to oversee operations of the practice and align it with Putnam County Hospital’s mission and strategic vision. Key requirements involve the development, planning, coordinating and implementing business plan and strategy. This involves budgets and overseeing all aspects of the daily operation of the business including business expansion; office coding, billing and collections; promote patient satisfaction and perform service recovery; employee management and training; policy & procedure management; medical record management; technical issues; physical office issue resolution; physician issue resolution; daily flow and evaluating standards of care for patients. The Team Lead will be responsible for the development of process improvement opportunities and policy management. An effective Team Lead enhances operational effectiveness while emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation and quality of care.
