Job summary

Habitat Health, a PACE organization, is seeking an RN Clinic Supervisor to lead the Center's day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring high‑quality, participant‑centered care. You will supervise a team of RNs, LVNs, and MAs, oversee scheduling, EMR workflow, and ensure compliance and timely documentation, while coordinating with vendors and managing supplies and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unrestricted RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 2–5 years leading nursing teams.
• Strong communication and scheduling management skills.
• Experience with caring for a complex geriatric population with chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations within the PACE clinic to ensure high-quality, participant-centered care.
• Assign duties to clinic staff and guide shifts for timely tasks, including EMR scheduling and documentation.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to clinic staff for role clarity.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing education for RNs, LVNs, and MAs.
• Manage clinic schedules to maintain coverage.
• Collaborate on quality initiatives, CAPs, audits with Clinic Services Manager and Medical Director.
• Monitor supplies, vendor management, facility/equipment issues.
• Provide after-hours coverage and hands-on clinical care as needed (nurse triage, vaccines, wound care).

Role Scope : The RN Clinic Supervisor is an integral member of the Center's leadership team, overseeing the day ‑ to ‑ day operations of the PACE clinic to ensure high ‑ quality, participant ‑ centered care. This role manages and supports a team of nurses and medical assistants ensuring clinical excellence and smooth clinic operations. In addition to operational leadership, this role manages key functions such as vendor coordination, supply ordering, and facility or equipment needs. The RN Clinic Supervisor also provides hands ‑ on clinical care as needed.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations for the Role

• Oversee daily clinic operations within the PACE clinic, ensuring high-quality, participant-centered care for both chronic and acute needs.
• Assign duties to clinic staff and provide guidance during shifts to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately including oversight of EMR to ensure appropriate scheduling and documentation.
• Provide leadership oversight and performance management including feedback, coaching, and mentoring to clinic team members ensuring role clarity to perform functions at the top of their license.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing education for RNs, LVNs, and MAs
• Manage clinic schedules to maintain coverage
• Provide support with quality initiatives, audit readiness and monitoring CAPs in partnership with Clinic Services Manager and the Medical Director
• Monitor supply levels and handle day-to-day operational needs including vendor management, supply ordering, and facility/equipment issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards of Habitat Health and other regulatory agencies.
• Provide after-hours coverage as needed.
• Provide clinical care as needed such as nurse triage, emergency response, vaccine and medication administration, wound care, home care, and patient education

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a current, unrestricted RN license in California
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with two (2) - five (5) years of experience leading nursing teams, delegating tasks, and managing clinic operations.
• Strong communications skills with the ability to build trust and rapport within a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and prioritize work to keep operations running smoothly.
• Demonstrated ability to make routine clinic decisions, solve problems in real time, and escalation issues as necessary.
• Experience with caring for a complex geriatric population with chronic conditions
• Strong knowledge of clinical quality and compliance standards
