Position Summary:
The Clinic Runner (CNA), works collaboratively with both clinical and non-clinical teams focusing on providing safe and effective care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Position Requirements
Education: High School Education or GED required.
Licensure:
- CNA required at hire.
- Medication Aide preferred.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience:
- Any experience as a Nurse Assistant preferred.
- 1+ year customer service work in a health care setting preferred.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of traveling between locations on short notice.
Essential Job Functions
- Escort patients to and from examination rooms, providing assistance as needed and following safety protocols.
- Confirm patient identity and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Measure and record height, weight, and blood pressure as trained, entering the data into the EMR.
- Documents patient medication/allergy history into the EMR (active Medication Aide required)
- Offer gowns or other appropriate attire for the examination.
- Help patients get into the correct position for the examination, following safety protocols.
- Apply knowledge and skills to meet the age-specific needs of the patient population.
- Demonstrate initiative and flexibility as a team member to provide high-quality, efficient patient care.
- Support and assist with the orientation of new personnel as assigned.
- Uphold organizational goals, policies, procedures, and team decisions.
- Respect patient rights and ensure confidentiality.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate patient care issues appropriately and participate in their resolution.
- Perform clerical and support tasks, including patient registration, to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct cleaning and disinfection, including the use of sterilization equipment, and maintain accurate records to comply with federal and other external regulations by following departmental policies and procedures.
- Handle sterilized items carefully to ensure sterility is maintained.
- Stock designated supplies.
- Comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and The Joint Commission.
- Communicate effectively to solve problems in routine situations.
- Exhibit patience, self-confidence, maturity, and compassion, always working as part of a team.
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned, demonstrating competency.
Physical requirements: This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
