Job summary

RenalCare Associates in Peoria, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient clinic. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess patient needs, coordinate care, respond to clinical concerns and ensure important issues don’t fall through the cracks.

This Monday–Friday role offers no nights, weekends or holidays, with a pay range of $33–$37 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Registered Nurse license.
• Professional nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing patient needs throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls and assess symptoms and clinical needs.
• Prioritize urgent versus routine issues using nursing judgment.
• Escalate concerns to the physician when needed.
• Coordinate physician orders, medications, testing and follow-up care.
• Review clinical information and ensure timely action.
• Educate patients regarding medications and treatment plans.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Maintain patient safety while managing multiple priorities.
