We're seeking an experienced and flexible Clinic RN to support both phone triage during the day and Urgent Care operations during evenings and weekends at our Brookfield location.
Schedule Snapshot:
Week 1: Mon 8:30–8:15, Wed 7:00–8:15, Fri 1:00–8:15, Sat 7:45–4:15
Week 3: Mon 8:30–8:15, Wed 7:00–8:15, Fri 7:45–5:00
In this role, you will:
- Triage patient concerns over the phone using clinical protocols
- Deliver compassionate, efficient care in our walk-in Urgent Care setting
- Collaborate with providers and support staff across both care areas
- Occasionally provide support for family medicine visits
Qualifications:
- Current WI RN license
- Strong clinical judgment and multitasking skills
- Comfort with Epic and electronic charting
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as scheduled

The Clinic RN at ProHealth Care Medical Associates - Brookfield, utilizes the nursing process to deliver general nursing care and procedures in the clinic setting. The RN delivers medical care designated by physicians or physician assistants. May delegate nursing acts to LPNs and Medical Assistants.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- CPR certification required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
- Previous experience in an Urgent Care setting is strongly preferred.
In this role, the Clinic RN will:
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver appropriate nursing care and procedures in the clinic setting. Perform nursing acts delegated by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Act as a resource for data gathering and assessment, triage walk-in and call-in patients to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Perform duties of a RN in accordance with the Nursing Code of Ethics, The Nurse Practice Act of Wisconsin, and PHCMA Nursing policies.
- Provide health care advice to patients and family members utilizing the nursing process and triage protocols, make nursing decisions, and develop a care plan based on phone triage assessment, directing patients to the appropriate healthcare provider/facility.
- Complete all documentation accurately, timely, and efficiently for regulatory compliance and billing. Follow protocol and route documents to providers as required. Demonstrate skills necessary for proper documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
- Administer medications appropriately using the "5 rights of administration" and "2 identifier system" for proper patient verification.
- Perform therapeutic treatments and other health screenings as required by the provider or specialty area.
- Administer IVs according to protocol.
- Ensure exam rooms and procedure areas are clean, orderly, and meet standards. Assist physicians/providers with procedures using sterile techniques.
- Assist with splinting, casting, or orthopedic appliance fitting when applicable.
- Respond to urgent and emergency patient care situations as required under RN practice.
- Assist in the control and maintenance of clinic medications, supplies, and equipment. Report low supplies, expired supplies, and necessary repairs. Record medication use maintaining counts and controls.
- Facilitate outpatient services, emergency transfers, and hospital admissions, documenting as necessary.
- Perform patient teaching and discharge instructions, including after-visit summaries.
- Make follow-up calls to patients under protocol and physician/provider direction.
- Review test results and respond appropriately.
- Maintain and provide patient education materials. Monitor prescription refill needs, following protocols with physicians/providers.
- Assist with procedures using sterile techniques.
- Collect and obtain blood, urine, or other specimens as needed.
