Job summary

Qualifications

• Active SD RN license is required upon hire.
• 1-3 years experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment and teamwork for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients and administer medications per nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during procedures, treatments, exams, and testing.
• Observe, record, and report patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Oversee appointment scheduling and maintain smooth patient flow, prioritizing emergencies.
• Greet patients, obtain health history, take vitals, and conduct nursing assessments.
• Respond to patient calls with physician input and guidance.
• Educate patients about diagnostic processes, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and labeling of specimens as needed.
• Conduct quality control and maintain lab/testing records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
