Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Nebraska license.
• Requires knowledge of technical nursing procedures.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical nursing care through interviews, assessments and vital signs.
• Administers medications topically, orally, injection or intravenous as ordered by the physician.
• Administers treatments within his/her scope of practice as ordered by the physician.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed; prepares patients for procedures per protocol.
• Arranges diagnostic procedures and obtains prior authorizations.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and monitors equipment for proper functioning.
• May assist physician with minor surgery.
• Answers telephone and responds to patient concerns; intervenes to solve problems.
