Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an RN to provide patient care using the nursing process, with accountability for outcomes and coordination across departments. You will evaluate care effectiveness and protect patient rights and confidentiality.

Shifts rotate 0700-1530 or 0730-1600 in a clinic setting; licensure in the hiring state or a compact license is required, with BLS certification expected within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Rotating 0700-1530 and/or 0730-1600 clinic shifts.
