Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Journey Clinic Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assess and plan care, and coordinate treatment through in-person, telehealth, or telephonic encounters while collaborating with the health care team across the lifespan.

Qualifications

  • RN degree and California licensure required with BLS within 30 days.
  • Nursing program graduate with at least 18 months of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred for clinical leadership and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in ambulatory care settings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.
  • Coordinate care via direct, telehealth, or telephonic encounters.
  • Collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs across the lifespan.

Description

The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters. This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Required Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing, Or

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

  • 18 months professional nursing experience


Preferred Qualifications


  • Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Agreement upon hire

  • Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Agreement upon hire
