Job summary

Avera Brookings Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families.

You will coordinate patient care with physicians and the clinic team, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and assist with procedures. This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized exam area while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Experience in ambulatory care is preferred and flexibility for urgent situations.

Qualifications

• RN license/active license required.
• Ability to perform essential nursing functions and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Coordinates the patient care activities for the clinic.
• Assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
• Maintains exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials.
