Job summary

Mile Bluff Clinic in Mauston, WI is hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role with daytime hours (7:00am-4:30pm) and no weekend or holiday rotations. The RN assists providers with patient care, rooms patients, and supports procedures while ensuring accurate charting and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of experience with strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• Wisconsin RN license active and current.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 3 months.
• 1+ years of related nursing experience.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient needs before, during, and after care; ensure needs are met promptly.
• Room patients for appointments and prepare for procedures.
• Assist with procedures, dressing changes, and DME supplies as needed.
• Clean and stock patient rooms and equipment.
• Chart prep and paperwork including prior authorizations and forms.
• Triage and arrange extra care at other MBMC facilities.
• Obtain lab specimens and perform basic lab tests.
• Start IVs, change catheters, and perform basic wound care.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings; participate in clinic governance.
• Travel to MBMC clinics/pods to cover as needed.
• Provide patient education upon request.
• Perform other duties as requested.
