Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a registered nurse to float among our outpatient clinics in Rockford. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and support care coordination in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds Illinois RN licensure, and has computer skills for charting. PTO and comprehensive benefits are included. This role offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience required.
• 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient clinics.
• Document nursing assessments and care.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient plans.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. You will float between a variety of our Outpatient Clinics in the Rockford area.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Required

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Required
• 1 year of professional nursing experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure from State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
