Job summary

Semmes Murphey Clinic in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our neurosurgery practice for complex patient care. This full-time, onsite role supports patients and families through challenging neurosurgical care and requires strong organization and clear communication.

Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; RN license, BLS, and one year of experience required. Proficiency with EMR, MS Office, and medical practice software is essential; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a nursing program certificate from an accredited college/university.
• One (1) year experience as a registered nurse required.
• Current state nursing license and BLS certification required.
• BSN degree and outpatient clinic experience preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a neurosurgery practice. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated care team supporting patients and their families through complex neurosurgical care. This career will leverage your clinical expertise along with a high level of attention to detail to effectively prioritize complex cases. You will need to be highly organized, proactive, and steady under pressure, with the ability to guide patients and their families through complex situations while maintaining structure and clarity.

This is a full-time, onsite position. Hours in this role are Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Requirements

This position requires a nursing program certificate from an accredited college or university, one (1) year experience as a registered nurse, and current state nursing license and BLS certification. BSN degree and experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.

The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical practice software, with knowledge of data entry and coding software. Organizational skills with attention to detail are required.
