Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sign-on Bonus Eligible: $10k
• Assess patients' abilities to participate in procedures, explain procedures clearly, including duration and expectations.
• Provide patient education as appropriate.
• Obtain patient consent and ensure confidentiality.
• Select proper equipment, set technical factors, follow protocols, gather supplies, and adhere to radiation safety standards, including 'Image Gently' and 'Image Wisely'.
• Gather and record complete patient history to assist in image interpretation and future encounters.
• Perform quality assessment of images and evaluate equipment issues.
• Complete quality tests on equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, Radiation Safety, ALARA, and adhere to State Regulations relevant to licenses or certifications.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RTR)
• BLS-CPR certification
• MRAD:IA certification
• Mandatory Reporter training within 6 months if working in Iowa or Behavioral Health/Psych units
• Ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with ownership of projects
• Team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Pay Range

$22.89 - $33.20 per hour
