Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation is seeking a customer service focused staff member to support a busy neurology practice in Dover, NH. You will handle high-volume calls, appointment scheduling, and patient check-in/out while maintaining accurate records and handling messages for the clinical team.

The role offers a 36-hour workweek (Mon–Thu 7:30 AM–5:00 PM) with full-time benefits, structured training, and a collaborative team environment in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Office/customer service experience desired; healthcare helpful but not required.
  • High-volume phone experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • CMAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of calls and assist patients with scheduling and routine questions.
  • Schedule appointments and support patient check-in/check-out.
  • Receive and route messages about refills, test results, authorizations, DME, and provider questions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and scan documents.
  • Support daily administrative and practice operations.
