Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation in Dover, NH seeks a full-time Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the Internal Medicine team onsite from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required or acceptable alternative.
  • 2–3 years of office experience in a medical/clinic setting preferred.
  • Experience in patient scheduling, billing, or front-desk duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical or physician practice office.
  • Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
  • Greet and assist patients.
  • Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
  • File materials in patient folders and print appointment schedules.
  • Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient records.
  • Open and distribute unit mail or faxes.
  • Type forms and memos as directed.
  • May accept co-payments and handle related tasks.
  • Serve as Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to others in these areas.

Dedicated to administrative support, these Representatives serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!Summary:Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits, including scheduling, check-in, and check-out duties.
