Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Office experience preferred; candidates with strong customer service experience encouraged to apply.
  • Certified Medical Administrative Assistant certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and take clear messages.
  • Schedule, check in, and check out patients for appointments.

Our Gastroenterology practice in the heart of Florence is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-service-focused Clinic/Practice Assistant to join our team. This is a phone-heavy role, with the majority of the day focused on managing a high volume of patient and caller phone calls, so we are looking for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and enjoys helping others in a busy clinical office setting.

Located right in the center of Florence, this practice offers the convenience of being near great shops, restaurants, and local places to enjoy before or after work. About the Role

In this role, you will help support the daily operations of the practice, with the majority of your day focused on managing a high volume of phone calls, responding to patient and caller needs, scheduling appointments, and assisting with routine administrative tasks. You will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in front desk duties, including welcoming patients, check-in and check-out support, and helping create a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience for patients and staff.
