Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital Millis clinic seeks a full-time Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the front desk and clinical workflow on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, multi-tasking in a high-volume outpatient setting, and accurate scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient communications. No healthcare experience? We’ll train the right candidate with strong service skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of office experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume outpatient setting.
  • Willing to train on the job for candidates with strong service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service or physician practice office.
  • Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
  • Greet and assist patients, answer telephones, and schedule appointments.
  • Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical record/LMR.
  • Open and distribute mail or faxes and verify registrations for accuracy.

In addition, we coordinate our patients’ care when they need treatment by specialists.We are a small office with a close-knit team of Providers, Medical Assistants and front desk staff who run our practice as a cohesive team! If you are looking to join a collaborative team who works closely together this is the position for you!We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice on-site Monday through Friday from 8:30am- 5:00pm.Clinic/Practice Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, these Coordinators serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience, exceeding our patients' expectations.SummaryPerforms both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under close to general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
