The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and delivering affordable veterinary care in a mission-driven environment. A background in veterinary practice management or healthcare administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or leadership role is required.
• Experience in veterinary practice management or healthcare administration preferred.
• Ability to explain basic veterinary concepts to clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures preferred.
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and staff across the ARL Afford-a-Care Pet Clinics.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Create staff schedules and ensure proper coverage for operations.
• Manage client scheduling and patient flow to meet goals.
• Coordinate with veterinarians on pricing, workflows, and service consistency.
• Coordinate patient accounts with Finance for payments and grants.
• Manage clinic inventory and ordering.
