Description

We are seeking top performers to join our Patient Experience team and become key players in growing Salience Health through excellent patient outcomes, positive patient experiences, and collaboration with care leaders.

As a Patient Experience Advocate (PXA), you will manage clinic flow and provider schedules, perform check-in & check-out (via telehealth or in-person), support follow-up care coordination, schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, collect payments, and assist patients through their care journey. You will support Medical Assistants, Ancillary teams, Care Navigators, and Medical Directors across locations.

Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion for mental and physical health, drive for self-improvement, and motivation to exceed goals. Your work will directly contribute to premium patient outcomes.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base Wage - $55,000 annually as a salaried employee
  • Additional Team Incentives – qualify after 90 days, based on performance metrics like schedule optimization and timely collections, ranging from $0-$400+ per month

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, uphold core values, and promote a positive culture
  • Manage patient flow, scheduling, and clinic operations efficiently
  • Provide excellent patient interactions and support a welcoming environment
  • Perform check-in/check-out, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain patient records securely
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with billing inquiries
  • Coordinate communication among patients, providers, and staff
  • Support staff development and ongoing training
  • Assist with administrative tasks like managing forms and office operations
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve workflows

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, with hours typically from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with variations based on location
  • Some shifts may start earlier (7AM) or later (9AM), with coverage adjustments as needed

Environment & Physical Demands

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience or college with customer service preferred
  • 1-3+ years healthcare experience; 0-3+ years customer service
  • Proficiency in EMR, Microsoft Office, and insurance navigation preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality skills
