Provides clerical and filing duties in the hyperbaric medicine and wound care physician office setting. Responsibilities include photocopying, faxing, filing, maintenance and transportation of medical records, answering phones, data entry, and other duties. Knowledge of insurance managed care requirements, practice management systems, and electronic medical records is essential. Understanding ICD and CPT coding's impact on reimbursement, along with billing, collection, and charge entry functions. Demonstrates customer service, team building, and leadership skills.
