Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or higher.
• Master's Degree with no experience or 3 years' experience in the discipline.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years related experience in a clinic/physician office.
• Registered Nurse in Nebraska upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, and evaluate staff.
• Assigns day-to-day work and directs performance of team members.
• Direct staffing to meet patient and unit needs.
• Set goals, monitor progress, provide feedback, and address issues.
• Ensure clinic protocols comply with federal/state regulations.
• Coordinate charging/reimbursement changes with the clinic team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Nurse Supervisor, located at our LaVista Family Clinic off of 96th & Giles you will be a visionary leader, setting the standard for exceptional patient care and empowering our teams to achieve unparalleled clinical excellence.

Every day, you will inspire and lead a dedicated clinical team (nurses & aides) to prioritize patient needs, maintaining rigorous oversight of regulatory compliance, staffing, and fiscal health. You'll passionately advocate for your team, translating their insights into actionable strategies that uplift both staff and patient experiences.

• Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assigns day-to –day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of team members.
• Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and department needs, and collaborate with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
• Manage performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our commitments using corrective action.
• Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and standards.
• Ensures charging/reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team.
