Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in California is seeking an experienced Clinic Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services in an outpatient setting. You will perform assessments, educate patients and families, and participate in phone triage as needed.

You will administer medications, collect specimens, document all nursing services, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient care under California regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved nursing program.
• Active California RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with ambulatory/outpatient care preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling and insurance verification processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

• Successful completion of a nursing program
• Basic keyboarding skills basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Preferred

• One (1) year clinical nursing experience preferably in an ambulatory care setting
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• Knowledge of registration and order entry systems
• Knowledge of patient scheduling and insurance verification and authorization

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of California
