Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Clinic Nurse (RN) for the Interventional Radiology Clinic. The nurse will manage and provide care to patients and families, guiding and supervising the nursing care delivered by the patient care team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model, across a 40-hour, first-shift schedule at James Cancer Hospital.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit is required.
• Experience in the relevant care setting is preferred.

Scope of Position

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient's involvement in their own plan of care, and reducing the length of hospitalization, the clinic nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost-effective care.

Position Summary

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and their family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit.

• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
