Job summary

Mission Community Hospital in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for outpatient primary care in Panorama City, with patients across the lifespan.

Required: CA NP license, Board Certified FNP, DEA and BLS; outpatient experience preferred, FQHC background a plus, and Spanish speaking is highly encouraged. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting multiple local clinics.

Qualifications

• Active California NP license and Board Certification FNP.
• DEA license and BLS certification required.
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred; FQHC background a plus.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct physical exams, assessments, and follow-up visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure quality care.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Burbank & Mission Hills)
• Wednesdays: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Panorama City)
• Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our growing outpatient primary care team serving the communities of Burbank, Mission Hills, and Panorama City. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Candidates with prior FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) experience are strongly preferred. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
