Job summary

Monroe Medical Group in Bloomington, IN is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for its on-campus clinic affiliated with Monroe Hospital. You will provide general care to patients 18+, perform exams, document histories, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role offers full-time days, autonomy in practice, CME allowance, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical malpractice tail coverage; base salary will depend on experience.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization is required.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse is required.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• 1-2 years of NP experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients 18 and older.
• Conduct tests and record medical histories.
• Prescribe medications and assist physicians.
• Work autonomously in an on-campus clinic.
• See approximately 20 patients per day.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

• 40 hours per week
• See approximately 20 patients per day, ages 18 and above
• Clinic on campus at Monroe
• Must be comfortable working autonomously
• Base salary- depending on experience

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current .
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic health record.
