Job summary

Monroe Medical Group in Bloomington, IN, affiliated with Monroe Hospital, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join its on-campus clinic for adult primary care. The role focuses on common disorders, preventive care, and patient education. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

This full-time position offers a day schedule, 40 hours per week, and an on-site work environment. CME allowance, PTO, comprehensive benefits, and tail coverage are included.

Qualifications

• MSN/ARNP required with active state license.
• Current BLS required at hire and maintained.
• 1–2 years of NP experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general primary care to adults (18+) with compassionate care.
• Perform tests, document medical histories, and provide treatments.
• Assist physicians and contribute to patient education and preventive care.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week
• See approximately 20 patients per day, ages 18 and above
• Clinic on campus at Monroe
• Must be comfortable working autonomously
• Base salary- depending on experience
• CME Allowance

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current .
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic health record.
