Job summary

Wayne County Hospital is seeking a qualified licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN) or medical assistant to join the South Central Iowa Medical Clinic in Corydon, IA. You will greet patients, take vitals, draw blood, perform lab testing, and coordinate referrals while maintaining charting in the EMR system.

This full-time role runs 36 hours per week with four 9-hour days; weekends are possible but not required.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa LPN/RN license or Medical Assistant certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and take vitals.
• Draw blood and perform lab testing.
• Call patients and other medical facilities for referrals; chart in EMR.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa LPN or RN License or Medical Assistant Certification
• BLS required
• Clinic experience preferred
• Mandatory Reporting certification required within 6 months of hire
• Must pass background check, physical, drug screen, TB Test, and flu shot (seasonal) upon hire.
