Job summary

Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care, is seeking a Program Clinic Nurse to focus on Care, Community, and Compliance within a behavioral health program.

Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA to provide comprehensive nursing care. Engage the local community with educational sessions and participate in regular team meetings to enhance patient care and program development.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing is required.
• Associates degree or above is required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Engage with the local community to deliver educational presentations and workshops about mental health resources.
• Participate in regular team meetings to review patient progress and program development.

Opportunity Details:

As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will focus on the 3Cs; Care, Community, and Compliance.

Care:

Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.

Community:

Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.

Compliance:

Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associates of above - required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.
