Position Details

Clinic Medical Assistant

Position Summary

Functions as the medical assistant for Clinic and patients. Maintains supplies and assists professional staff as needed in the clinic.

Requirements

Education

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current CPR Certification required.

Experience

Experience: Previous Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Job Knowledge

Job Knowledge: Capable of performing duties as assigned. Must be able to quickly learn skill sets necessary to perform clinical duties.

Skills: Ability to communicate well with the public. Able to work effectively with team member and use tact and discretion in dealing with varying job situations. Able to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to deliver patient care under Physician supervision and follow verbal and written instructions. Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.

Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.

Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
